Bit-Perfect Audio
for Apple Music

BeatPerfect keeps your DAC output matched to the track's native format.

macOS resamples all audio by default. BeatPerfect prevents that.

No resampling. No mid-track format switching. No playback glitches.

DAC displaying 96kHz 24bit - proof of bit-perfect playback

What your DAC is actually receiving

96kHz / 24-bit — matched to the track's native format

Why Bit-Perfect Matters

macOS resamples audio by default. BeatPerfect bypasses that completely.

Zero Resampling

macOS resamples all audio by default. BeatPerfect matches your DAC to the track's native format — no conversion.

No Mid-Track Glitches

Once learned, your tracks play without interruption. No format switching mid-song, no audio dropouts.

Apple Music Native

If the format is known, bit-perfect playback applies immediately. If not, BeatPerfect learns it and applies from the next play — never mid-track.

Invisible Operation

Lives in your menu bar. Does its job silently. You just hear better music.

Works with Any DAC

Schiit, Topping, FiiO, RME, or any USB DAC. If macOS sees it, BeatPerfect controls it.

24-bit / 192kHz

Full Hi-Res Lossless support. Every bit, every sample, delivered exactly as mastered.

FAQ

Is it ever bit-perfect on the first play?

Yes. If BeatPerfect already knows a track's format — from previous plays or shared format data — it applies bit-perfect playback immediately. When it doesn't know yet, it learns safely and applies it from the next play.

Why isn't every first play bit-perfect?

BeatPerfect prioritizes uninterrupted listening. Rather than switching formats mid-song (which causes audio glitches), it learns the format first and applies it before the next play begins.

Why does the format sometimes differ from what Apple Music shows?

Network conditions can cause Apple Music to stream at a lower quality temporarily. BeatPerfect detects the actual format being played and updates its data, so the next time you play the song, it will be correct.
