Installation
- 1Download the DMG file
- 2Open the DMG and drag BeatPerfect to Applications
- 3Launch BeatPerfect from Applications
- 4Click the menu bar icon to activate your license
Important
BeatPerfect detects track formats by analyzing Apple Music's internal logs. Apple occasionally changes the log format, which may temporarily affect format detection. If tracks are not being detected, please check for updates and install the latest version.
Troubleshooting
"BeatPerfect can't be opened" error
Right-click the app and select "Open", then click "Open" again in the dialog. This is only needed once.
App doesn't appear in menu bar
Check if the icon is hidden by other menu bar items. Try holding Command and dragging other icons to make room.
Sample rate not changing
Make sure your DAC is selected as the output device in System Settings → Sound. Some DACs require exclusive mode to be enabled.
